Congratulations goes out to Duanisha on her sweet sixteenth bash in Stratford, CT!! I saw some old faces, Chaka's in the house and Fanny, the contract's in the email! It was a great time had by all! Shout out to Ricky & Shanika Pettaway, the proud parents!
Well folks, you know I always have a story at any event I attend and this one was no exception. Here's the story, my partner Neal Curry of Image This Photography and I were bringing in the sweet sixteen court and as we get into the lobby there's an older gentleman, who kindly posed the guest of honor several times. I didn't think of it, because I would never stop a family member from taking a photo!! We proceeded to finish the photo shoot, then enter the party. As we break, we see that same older gentleman approach the mom and ask if she would like to purchase pictures!!! I thought to myself, "What the..."??!! They respectfully declined and he was tossed like a ceasar salad out the door.
I don't know about you, but I found that disrespectful and tastless on his part. I joked with my partner Neal, if that was another outfit he might have been "escorted" out the back door. How dare a photographer step on anothers shoe at a function?!
